Riddler Trophies

Okay, here's the deal: Whenever I'm playing Arkham Asylum, I get really annoyed with Riddler really fast because he's all, "Oh, it's taking you soo long to solve all my brilliant puzzles," when in reality it takes so long first because you need to wait to unlock all the areas and gadgets, and second because Batman has some other priorities at the moment. It's really satisfying to hear him get more and more upset the more you solve until he's pouting and calling foul because you're probably cheating like you're on the playground or something.

Which isn't to say I hate the Riddler in that game. On the contrary, I enjoy that whole arc. It's more of a "playful" kind of annoyed. Besides, Riddler is one of my favorite of Batman's rogues. I'd have to say the "Aw, yeah!" list* is: Joker, Harley, Riddler, Two-Face, Scarecrow, Mad Hatter, Bane, Penguin, Ventriloquist, Maxie Zeus, and Calendar Man. Roughly in that order.

As for Batman- I just sketched the gestures and expressions I made while saying the lines in this script. I really like the expressiveness of rolling one's eyes, and normally that's not possible on Batman. I took a little liberty there, I hope you don't mind.

*Aw Yeah list- a list of things that, when presented to you, make you go "Aw Yeah." In this example, upon finding out that one of these guys is Batman's adversary for the episode/comic/segment, I'll go, "Aw, yeah!"
